Our Wiggle Wobble Sing-Dance-Play classes are designed for energetic little ones who love dancing, jumping and moving wherever they may be! Tiny Toes will be introduced to the magic of dance through the use of colourful and creative props with a BIG emphasis on fun, play & imaginative music. Your child will grow in confidence, independance and sociability as they tap into their natural affinity with movement & music while making new friends along the way.
What to wear - Your favourite tutu, leotard, or stretchy shorts and top. Bare feet or ballet shoes. Hair tied back and off the face.

TIPPY TOES JAZZ (3-5 yrs)
Energetic preschoolers will learn the basic steps & movements in jazz dance as they shake, skip, gallop and jump to fun, upbeat music. This class teaches the importance of stretching & warm-up exercises through the use of creative techniques before getting on with the more serious business of FUN, MUSIC & MOVEMENT!
What to wear - Leotard or stretchy shorts and top. Ballet shoes. Hair tied back.

TIPPY TOES BALLET (3-5 yrs)
An ideal starter class for young budding ballerinas who are ready to take instruction and learn basic ballet steps. Ballet is introduced to young children through play, imagination & music appreciation and the use of fun props (ribbons, wands, scarves). Your child’s balance, coordination & confidence will grow as they develop the skills needed for more formal ballet study.
What to wear - Leotard with wrap skirt, pink tights (or pink ballet socks for summer), pink ballet shoes. Hair tied back or in a bun.

TIPPY TOES HIP HOP (3-5 yrs)
So your pre-schooler’s got attitude? Perfect! Bring them along to our Tippy Toes hip hop classes and let them channel that self-expression and energy into dance. Tippy Toes students will be introduced to fun hip hop basics that will see them busting out the coolest dance moves in no time! Who knew that an attitude could lead to so much fun!

TIPPY TOES ACRO DANCE (3-5 yrs)
We all know how much little ones love to dance, tumble AND hang upside down - anyway, anywhere, anytime! Acro (acrobatic dance) is a great class for our youngest students to learn basic skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, bridges and balances in combination with fun dance movements. Watch your child’s confidence and ability grow as they learn new skills each week under the safe instruction of their teacher.

Juniors (5-8 yrs)
JAZZ TECHNIQUE
Jazz technique is an essential starting point for jazz students to be able to take the skills they have learnt to another level and showcase their individual personality. Classes start with a warm up with stretching & conditioning exercises (designed to enhance a student’s strength & flexibility) before moving onto corner work, centre and progressions.
What to wear - Leotard, tan jazz shoes (slip-on/split soles). Hair tied back.

JAZZ
Jazz dance is fun & energetic and filled with hard-hitting movements that will increase your fitness levels. Applied jazz techniques will see you doing high kicks, big leaps and quick turns in no time. Classes include a warm up & choreography and will give students the opportunity to bust out some new dance moves to the rhythms of popular music. (To excel in jazz it is strongly recommended that students enrol in ballet classes).

CONTEMPORARY
A fusion of ballet, modern & jazz technique, Contemporary is a popular form of dance for all ages that encourages personal interpretation, self-expression and freedom of movement. Contemporary dance incorporates both a fluid and a dynamic range of motion with sudden changes in direction, speed and rhythm. (Students dancing ability will improve if ballet classes are also taken).
What to wear - Comfortable, close-fitting clothes that allow ease of movement. Barefoot is best or wear non-slip socks or foot thongs. Hair tied back.

Your child will: learn to think ‘outside the box’ as they improvise and problem solve; develop vocal skills including projection and enunciation, improve focus, concentration and memory; learn trust in others - as well as self - through role play (characterisation) games. This is a great class for pre-teens!
